Instead all that happened was a slow ache that started to form behind her temple. At first she tried to ignore it but it grew sharper rapidly, till she couldn't pretend it wasn't there. She rubbed lightly at her temple at first, small circles in the hollow of it, pressing harder as it became more intense. Her eyes closed as she gritted her teeth then concentrated on relaxing, her jaw again, drawing her focus away from the pain.
